The Learning Center at Bethel Ridge

Our Programs promote independence and achievement with curricula designed to maximize success. 
 
The Learning Center at Bethel Ridge supports students 11 and older and adults of all ages. Our program offers small class sizes to cater to individual needs and is staffed with educational consultants, who are certified special education teachers with expertise in curriculum design.

Students at our Center benefit from a variety of skill enhancements and are able to function more independently in their daily lives. Participants will improve their academic and social skills while enjoying their leisure time in a productive and fulfilling manner.

The Program addresses specialized areas of interest that include:

• • Computer Use — Internet/Email — "The Cyber Explorer"
  • Functional Skills — Reading/Everyday Math (Budgeting, Shopping, etc.)
  • Life Skill - Cooking/Driving — "The Bubbling Gourmet and the Savvy Driver"
  • Creative Arts/Expression
  • Employment Skills (Social Skills, Resumes) 

Our Learning Center achieved Exemplary Conformance (exceeding CARF’s standard of excellence) for “Bethel Ridge’s creative and innovative Learning Center”. This holistic approach ensures that a full array of programs and services are available to meet  all the needs of our participants.
